more attainable veganism

I have been trying to eat a plant-based diet for a while now, but every few months will face a burnout. I attribute it to a combination of lack of diversity in vegan cuisine in my area, feeling uninspired by vegan recipes, and general fatigue of cooking.

all that changed when I started using splendid spoon.

splendid spoon is a plant-based food delivery service that offers soups, grain bowls, noodle bowls, smoothies, and more, that are all vegan, contain organic ingredients when possible, and completely delicious.

their packaging is 100% recyclable–and I reuse their BPA-free plastic bowls for leftovers.

the offerings are so diverse; some of my favorites are cuban black bean bowl (pictured above), aloo gobi quinoa bowl, moroccan lentils, and zucchini puttanesca. keeping these delicious options in my fridge helps me to eat well, because it’s the easiest option. not to mention, eating these delicious bowls inspires me to cook new things.

eating vegan doesn’t have to mean lots of time in the kitchen, weird substitute ingredients, or bland food. it’s fun, easy, and delicious.
